WelCome to My Kitchen!

This is all about my passion and love for cooking. It started when I was a little girl. Like for most girls, my first guru is my Mom, who was an awesome cook. Her recipes made me think how ones love for cooking can inspire others and pump the creative mind within. This took my passion to the next level where I started watching a lot of cookery shows and filling most of my school note book's last pages with the recipes from them. I grew up with this love for cooking. To my fortune, I am married to a foodie by birth. He is the experimental subject for my cooking.

Me and my Blog

I am Madhuri Akasapu or Madhu as my buddies call me, coming from the land of delicacies, Hyderabad. Recently, we have moved to Seattle in US. I am a mechanical design engineer working full time. After 5 years of work, I quit my job and accompanied my hubby to Milan, Italy. When my hubby was busy at his work, I had a plenty of time to do what I loved the most. This revived my interest, and sowed the seeds to start this blog 'Come To My Kitchen'.

The recipes on this blog are all tried and tasted, and the pictures here are all from my shutter box.
