Cherry-Mint Lemonade

Summer is on, and time for some chilled lemonades. This is a season for cherries as well, so why not try a minty cherry lemonade. :-)
Cherry-Mint Lemonade

This summer, this is the first lemonade I had made. Both me and my hubby loved the way it turned out. Believe me, this is really easy and quick (just about 12-15 mins) to make. Above all, it is healthy and refreshing.

Ingredients
10-12 fresh cherries, stems removed and pitted
8-10 mint leaves cut with hands
1 tsp honey (as desired)
juice of 1 lemon
ice cubes
1 cup water

Method
  • Add cherries, mint leaves, water to a blender and blend for few seconds.
  • Pour through a fine strainer. Using a spoon, press the solids to get all the liquid out and discard the solids.
  • Add lemon juice, honey to taste.
  • Serve over ice.

Note: I have garnished the rims of the glass with sugar by rubbing the rim with lemon, and dipping it in powdered sugar. Then Garnishing with a spring of mint.
